The Creighton Cup.

Standing 19" tall, this Silver beauty will be hoisted by the winning team of each BFHL Season.
The Creighton Cup is named after Novia Scotia born James Creighton, who
is credited with organizing the first recorded indoor ice hockey game.

The game took place on March 3, 1875 at the Victoria Skating Rink in Montreal, shown below.

Creighton was the captain of one of the two, nine-man teams.
The game was played using a wooden puck, with players using skates and
sticks brought in from Nova Scotia, where some of the earliest recorded
outdoor shinny games were played.
